The New Zealand Art Show is no different, with the exception that we take care to ensure our Friends and supporters get a great experience in return – there is nothing ordinary about the New Zealand Art Show. It’s a landmark occasion full of celebration, renowned for showcasing stunning original and affordable art from emerging and established New Zealand artists.

As a Friend you will enjoy three features, additional to the main event, which will enhance your New Zealand Art Show experience:

1. You’ll be invited to the launch of the New Zealand Art Show 2013

To be held at the Museum Art Hotel in May. This is a private function for Friends and Partners, to say thank you for all your valuable support. It will feature around 40 specially handpicked artworks – a taste of what to expect at the main event – plus refreshments. It’s also an ideal networking opportunity.

2. An exclusive preview of the collection of artworks

This will take place prior to the official opening between 12.30pm and 2.00pm on Thursday July 25th. This is the perfect opportunity to be amongst the first to view with the option to purchase in a relaxed and informal environment. On arrival you will be greeted and thanked personally by the Executive Director.

3. The fun does not stop there

The Friends afternoon is followed by our sell-out Gala Evening where attendees can enjoy delicious cocktail food, boutique beer and wine, and enjoy live entertainment. This is always a popular event where attendees can unwind in a relaxed environment and take in the atmosphere that makes the New Zealand Art Show such a unique event.
